Predicted probabilities for improved detection efficiency relative to distance from tag recorded in a large-scale range test array (N = 22 receiver stations). Receivers were deployed near the surface with the hydrophone oriented toward the sea floor. Detection efficiency was predicted in relation to the displayed set of continuous environmental variables with all other variables held constant at their respective mean values.
